The project

Full brand identity for mon/day coffee, a minimalist coffee house built around light — floor-to-ceiling windows, warm oak, and glass walls that let the morning in. The name plays on the ritual coffee holds in everyday life: mon/day — the start of the week and the start of every day, split by a single line that becomes the brand's signature mark. A quiet coffee bean replaces the o in 'mon,' the one detail that gives the wordmark away as coffee before you've read a word of it. The typography stays deliberately restrained — a fine, high-contrast serif for the name, a smaller companion serif for 'coffee' — so the mark reads as considered rather than decorative, equally at home on a raw oak sign as on a paper cup. Black and white carry through every touchpoint: cups, kraft packaging, outdoor signage, coffee bags — one consistent language that mirrors the interior's own restraint, where glass, wood, and negative space do the talking. The result is a brand as calm and considered as the space it lives in — minimal enough to disappear into the architecture, distinctive enough to be remembered.
